Amapiano Artist Sir Trill real name Mzwakhe Zwane is considered somewhat the bad boy of the music business. He is not afraid to speak his mind and is known for being a ‘no-show’ at events. The Bebengazi singer has gotten himself into more trouble as he could be evicted from the luxury estate in the North of Johannesburg after a ruling handed down by the Community Schemes Ombud Service, which declared him a nuisance among residents of the estate.

It is alleged that Sir Trill has broken many of the estate rules; including – making a noise in the early hours of the night and disturbing tenants, not complying with estate regulations, and receiving several fines. He faces an eviction should he continue. Residents at the estate in Roodepoort have filed several complaints and his fines accumulated to R7 000 and he has demonstrated no desire to comply with the board.

He was also embroiled in controversy over unpaid debt after failing to pay a restaurant alcohol bill of R1800, which his team eventually settled. Not long ago, Sir Trill also had a public spat with DJ Maphorisa. The DJ later shared receipts of payments made to Sir Trill, suggesting that the artist self-sabotaged his career by not attending gigs. Sir Trill said, “The Grootman is making artists pull out of the song. He made two artists pull out of the song. Uyislima bhuti (you’re an idiot, man). What is it that you see that you are so scared of in a boy younger than you? You are scared of who I can become,” he said. “Close the doors all you want. Won’t change the fact that I know the person you are, and I will never respect you or kiss your ass,” he said.
