A 60-year-old male suspect will appear before Senwabarwana Magistrate Court on today, 5 January 2026 facing a murder of a 43-year-old son at Tervission Section under Senwabarwana policing area on Thursday 01 January 2026.
His arrest emanates from a heated argument between the victim and his mother. It is alleged that the deceased had an argument with his mother and the process allegedly threatened to kill his father. His mother apparently contacted her husband who was not around to inform him that his son was coming to kill him.
Reports indicate that indeed a 43-year-old son went to his father’s place, and a fight erupted between the two on his arrival. The 43 year old allegedly took out a sharp object, and his father apparently managed to overpower him, grabbed it and stabbed him on the upper body.The son died on the scene.
Police registered a case of murder against the suspect (father).
The motive behind the incident is unknown at this stage. however, domestic violence cannot be ruled out.
