Amapiano hitmaker Sandile Msimango, also known as Young Stunna, is receiving medical attention after being injured at an event in East London on 15 December 2025.
The Sete singer had to cancel all six of his Day Of Reconciliation events in Secunda, Vosloorus, Katlehong, Soweto, Potchefstroom, and Kroonstad due to an injury he sustained at an event in East London.
In a statement by his management at Lawk Communications, all fingers point to the promoter.
“Due to an incident resulting from unprofessional and negligent conduct by an East London promoter on 15 December, I sustained an injury to the knee and am currently seeking medical attention,” he said.
“I am unfortunately unable to fulfill my performance commitments scheduled for 16 December. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to event organisers, their sponsors and most importantly, my supporters/ Your understanding and continued support is greatly appreciated. “
He said his team was working towards securing alternative dates for the affected performance.
Young Stunna is currently facing a lawsuit with Durban Base Entertainment, owned by Mafutha Bheko Sokhela worth over R1 million for not attending the Durban Meets Jozi Festival at a shisanyama in Kwandengezi township outside Durban, KZN event in 2022.
On 7 August 2022, Young Stunna went into an agreement with Durban Base Entertainment. According to the promoter. The event was scheduled to take place on 17 September 2022, but was cancelled in the last hour after feeling ill.
