His fans jokingly call him “sex champion” on social media after he was accused by DJ and influencer Honour “Cyan Boujee” Zuma of leaking their alleged sex tape. But behind the tattoos, a motorbike-riding musician is a person attending therapy to deal with past traumas and childhood scars. DJ and producer Kabelo “Prince Kaybee” Motsamai recently shared how he was sexually violated at a young age.

“I think sex is whack. From being molested as a child to now being an adult with numerous therapy visits, I can tell you that I might have been having it for the wrong reasons,” he shared.

After his rise to fame, Prince Kaybee said sex has been easily accessible.

“With all the internal issues I had growing up. I became rich and famous, suddenly I had access to sex with anyone I wished; that was the beginning of a monsoon of a life.”

The Sorry Not Sorry producer said his views on sex and intimacy might have been influenced by his childhood experiences.

“I sit here today, writing this with more understanding of how I view sex; it’s not something I really do a lot, as it requires a lot of compromise. You should be able to do it with the other person, even if you didn’t initiate it, and I do not like that,” he said.

“My relationship with sex is also defined by how uncomfortable I get when shown compassion. I repel any form of love because I am fine without it, and in most cases, when people have sex, they say they make love, love being something that makes me uncomfortable with how it’s defined in modern times.

He described himself as someone whose personality construct is characterised by impaired empathy, remorse, and persistent antisocial behaviour.

“I am a psychopath. I feel less what you see out there is a distorted understanding of who I really am, but I am not going to fight it, your truth, your rules,” he added.

“Lastly, a lot of people got hurt, and kids were born; there might have been pressures to maintain a healthy sexual relationship with anyone I see, but that does nothing but take from me. I now understand that intimacy is something I will never fully grasp, and I think I’m okay with that.”

When challenged to start a community to support like-minded people facing the same issues, he noted the pressure that comes with being a good role model.

“I’m not a good role model, there’s just too much out there. A cleaner brand can start a mans club, and they can be successful. Imagine looking up my name when attending the men’s club, and you see a dick pic that someone shared here on social media, not a good look.”
