Influencer and club hostess Innocentia “Inno” Morolong was found guilty by the Randburg Magistrate’s Court today of crimen injuria and defamation against actress and former Tebogo Thobejane.
On 29 January, she was sentenced to 12 months under house arrest and 60 days of community service under her parole officer. The court said should she wish to travel anywhere, she would need permission from her parole officer. On top of the 12 months of house arrest, she still has to do
Inno got into trouble after an Instagram Live recording alleging that Thobejane is a scammer, sex worker and pimp who uses muthi. An excited Thobejane has found solace in the sentencing of Morolong, stating that bullying has no place in the country. “As part of her sentencing, she is prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs for one year. Should she be convicted again or if any charges are pressed against her for a similar offence, she will face immediate imprisonment.” Additionally, she is not permitted to enter Johannesburg as per the terms of her restriction.” Apart from the 12-month house arrest, Morolong was also given a five-year suspended sentence.
