Inkabi Records founder and musician, Big Zulu real name Siyabonga Nene was involved in a car accident on Sunday night. His management confirmed he was recovering in a Johannesburg hospital after the incident.
The star is said to have crashed his BMW 325i. In a statement from the label, they did not share the details of the accident and what might have led it. “Nkabi Nation, it’s sad to announce that Big Zulu was involved in a car accident last night,” the statement reads. “We are relieved to share that Big Zulu sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving medical attention in the hospital. As a valued member of the Shuni Womhlaba family and an inspiration to many, we extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Big Zulu during this traumatic time,” the statement added. They also wished him a speedy recovery.”
They asked that his fans keep him in their prayers. “Please keep him in your prayers. We will share his progress and any updates on our WhatsApp channel. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on his feet, continuing to share his incredible talent with the nation.”
