Singer and producer Appreciate ‘Musa Keys’ Makamu has been handed court papers by his distribution company Electromode for breach of contract.

The company is demanding R700 000 from the Selema singer after they signed their deal in April 2021 which is meant to last for 36 months with an option to renew for 12 months.

The deal means, no other distribution contracts with any other company. Electromode says Musa breached his contract by cancelling their agreement prematurely in May. It is reported that the amount is likely to baloon to R1 million including legal chargers, and 7,5 percent interest and deal costs.
