After an impressive entry in the music industry with his debut hit single Come Alive followed by Adje, which took Africa by storm, snatching 1 million views on YouTube, hitting the Top 5 on national radio charts in South Africa and Nigeria, Ciza, Africa’s Golden Boy is back.
This time the musician, Ciza, real name Nkululeko Nciza, 19, is fast becoming one of the biggest African darlings and superstars is coming with his third already certified hit single called ‘’Bank Notification’’.
This is a feel-good song that is filled with immense creativity and pure magic from the iza as it is practically the first song to successfully merge the well known Pan African Afrobeats sound with the famous and hot South African original local sound of Amapiano, The mesmerising sounds of the song with its unheard rhythm will get you dancing a few seconds into the song as Ciza alongside featured Artist DJ Maphorisa (Madumane) ease in their vocals as they talk about the joys people get when receiving a bank notification on their phones.
The song is already making waves, grabbing top spots on different radio stations nationwide. It boasts over 160 000 Streams on Spotify and charting on Spotify Top 50. It also reached Apple Top 100 and is a hit on Shazam Top 100.
It has also been play-listed on one of Apple Music’s Top playlists Africa Rising and has been watched over 400K on YouTube on its first week.
“I am very impressed with the way people have received Bank Notification. The song is doing quite well in different platforms. There is a lot of work and effort that went into the song. I am grateful to the team that pulled this through. Working on a song during a pandemic is not easy but we did it,” says Ciza.

Ciza goes on to say that the biggest aim of releasing this EP was to offer people an escape from the stress of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I want Bank Notification to bring nothing but joy and relief to people suffering from emotional, physical, and psychological trauma. I hope this will soothe the pain of hardships experienced during this global pandemic. I want people to dance, enjoy and feel alive with me one more time,” he says.
Meanwhile, African Rising star Ciza is releasing his debut EP titled ‘’Golden Boy Pack’’ a project inspired by African legendary hits that will send your mind into a trance and make you wanna fall in love and dance from top to bottom. Ciza explores the continent sonically on this EP and delivers a project filled with African Soul, uplifting sounds and looks to establish a new era in African Music by delivering a completely original Afro-Fusion sound developed by himself (CIZA) and his producer co-songwriter Tony Duardo, ‘’Golden Boy Pack’’ is out on the 25th June 2021 and it features industry heavyweights including Tanzania’s Superstar Marioo, Major League DJZ, plus the versatile and talented DJ Maphorisa and Abidoza.
