It has been over a month since they release their Hop-Hop single Inyama Ka 25k. Goat Gang group started as a trio and now two are left to continue the long journey.
For five years, Macebo Moloi (Greece) and Momelezi Poswa (64 Choppa), and Khethokuhle Masimula (Meek) were hustling their way to the top. But due to the cutthroat industry, Khethokuhle dropped the Hip Hop game to get a full-time job.
“It is what it is. I still love music, these are my brothers, and I give them my full blessing to continue on their own,” Khethokuhle says.
Momelezi and Macebo continue their journey as stars on the rise.
“We have worked hard to try and get to the top and we will not stop until we are amongst the great,” says Macebo.
It has not been an easy journey to the top.
When they started their rap career, they thought good raps and ‘swag’ is all they needed to make it to the top, but later learned hard work and dedication pay off.
“It has not been easy, we have had doors closed on our faces, we have been told we are not good enough, but we never gave up,” says But they are celebrating the fruits of their labour.
“Hard work pays off and we are seeing this.”
The duo plans to release an EP before Winter.
“We have been working tirelessly to make sure we compete with the best in the game and make Trap music popular,” Macebo says.
