Radio 94.7 DJs Fresh (Thato Sikwane) and Euphonik (Themba Mbongeni Nkosi) were recently removed from public work engagements following rape allegations that were made against them by a woman who goes by the Twitter handle @Nampree.

She publicly accused the two on social media of allegedly drugging and raping her and three other women in 2011 and later in January 2021 opened a formal case with the South African Police Service at Sunnyside police station.

Since then, the alleged victim opened a case which was dismissed by the court. According to the DJs, the docket was marked ‘nolle prosequi.’
“We are pleased to state that, after considering all of the evidence collected while investigating the claim made by Ms Madikizela against us, the Chief Prosecutor has dismissed the allegations on the basis that the allegations are without merit. The docket has been marked NOLLE PROSEQUI.

Euphonik took to Twitter to post a text message which he alleged was from Nampree where she was apologising .

Euphonik has since been accused by ‘twitter detectives’ of faking the message. Which he laughed off.

Media darling Boity Thulo responded to Euphonik’s tweet, calling him a vile asshole for joking about the rape case.
“You’re being a vile asshole. This is not a joke!!! You’re being accused of the most violent crime and you’re turning it into a shits and giggles circus! Either confess or let your lawyers handle this. But what you’re doing here on Twitter is disgusting!” she wrote.
