Former South African president Jacob Zuma, 78 is reportedly to being feeling well after being hospitalised following testing positive for COVID-19. Edward Zuma, son of Jacob Zuma, said he is back home enjoying the festive season after he and his wife Gertrude MaKhumalo were tested positive for Covid-19. “We wish to inform the South African public about the health condition of former president Jacob G Zuma; he is well and currently enjoying his festive season with family, and is at home adhering to all regulations announced in March this year. Former president Zuma is well and in good spirits.”
Sunday World newspaper had reported that a source confirmed Jacob Zuma and wife were admitted to Netcare The Bay Hospital in Richards Bay, northern KwaZulu-Natal. Reports of Jacob Zuma’s illness surfaced on the day he was meant to appear at the Constitutional Court over his conduct towards the state capture inquiry.
