Mzansi is buzzing after a bombshell statement dropped on March 19, sending fans of Big Brother Mzansi into a frenzy! The hit “BAZOZWA” remix – already blowing up thanks to the viral #BazozwaDanceChallenge — has now sparked serious controversy over who’s really behind it.

And here’s the twist: according to an official statement, fan-favorite singer Cici and rising star Liema Pantsi had “absolutely no involvement” in the remix everyone thought they were part of!

The remix was reportedly put together by Muthaland Entertainment and Africa Unite Records, riding the wave of the viral dance craze.

In a strongly worded release, Muthaland an AURecords made it crystal clear that “Any assumptions or claims suggesting their endorsement or collaboration on this specific remix are entirely false.”

That’s right — despite their voices being heard on the track, both artists were reportedly completely unaware of the remix’s creation.

“The vocals attributed to Cici and Liema Pantsi… were extracted from their collaborative single titled ‘Remember,’… and utilized without the direct participation or authorization of the artists.”

The statement claims the project was “conceptualized entirely in response to the overwhelming success and viral nature of the #BazozwaDanceChallenge.”

While King KT was part of the original “Bazozwa,” this remix? A totally separate move. With fans hyping the collab that never was, the statement urges the public to set the record straight:

“It is essential to ensure that the creative contributions and associations… are accurately represented.”
