Glorious God captures the authentic passion, unity, and spiritual depth that have made 5 FOLD WORSHIP one of the most cherished worship ministries in the region. It speaks of their reverence for God as above all.
“All our songs are about glorifying God but also point the listener back to the author & finisher of our faith – Jesus Christ,” says Worship leader Bello Mpendulo.
From Mamelodi, Pretoria, the team has 15 musicians, 10 singers, and five instrumentalists. They hope their vision to spread the Gospel through music that stands out.
“It has always been our Pastor’s vision to one day record the worship team professionally,” Mpendulo says.
“When our current Vocal Director and Musical Director joined the church two years ago, we started working towards making that dream a reality. And here we are today.”
Their core mandate is to preach the Gospel through music.
“By God’s grace, we have not yet faced many challenges in these early stages of our music journey. Being an in-house worship team has made it that much easier to work together, even on a professional level.”
This festive season, they plan to push this new single as best as they can, and ensure to engage with their newly found audience.
The release of this is a build-up to the 11-track heartfelt collection of songs created to uplift, inspire, and draw listeners closer to God, set for release in 2026.
Hailing from Five Fold Ministries Church, Mamelodi – under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Sipho and Sophie Malete – 5 Fold Worship is a team of young gospel music ministers that has recently begun its journey into the Gospel music industry. A 15 member ensemble of 10 singers and a five-piece band, mandated to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, Five Fold Worship brings a sound for the kingdom of God, consisting of a balance between Traditional & Contemporary Gospel.
