“We launched the Hop and Studio in Cape Town – this is a space to be able to collaborate, exchange creative ideas, mentor, and take what we do globally,” Jojo says.

Born on 1 January 1995, His journey began on the baseball diamond as an apiring athlete. He was groomed by his father to become a professional baseball player. He exceleed in the sport and even represented Cameroon’s juvenile national team at age 16 years old. All the while, he was a creative when off the pitch. After years of juggling the two extra mural activities; it was behind the lens of a camera that he discovered his true calling.
From Cameroon, he journeyd to South Africa and found his place in the city of Cape Town. Jojo’s artistic voice flourished. He honed his craft at AFDA, learning from industry giants and growing into a force to be reckoned with. Under the guidance of renowned mentors like TG Omori, his current mentor who has been instrumental in shaping his creative vision, Ovie Estseyatse, and Stephan Hambsh_SASC.
Jojo refined his skills and pushed the boundaries of storytelling. He built his name, style and signature which allowed him collaborations with renowned directors and producers such as BossPlaya, Mike Dube, Elvis Chuck, and the team at Godfather Production and Voodoo Agency.
