Marriage advocate, author, and YouTuber Promise Makunyane has come under fire with her social media supporters following the separation from her cheating husband, Lawrence Makunyane.
Her husband, a municipal manager Lawrence Makunyane has publicly come out to say he has moved on and is in a new relationship with a younger woman known as Shoki, whom he previously dated in the past. A woman younger than his estranged wife, Promise.
Promise, on the other hand, has revealed that she is still very much married despite fans advising her to “Let go and Let God.”
Queen Lee, a former friend of the Youtuber, has recently revealed that Promise was well aware that her husband was “not loyal” after allegedly “snatching him from her own cousin.”
“He was ashamed of Promise, he never postedher, but posted his recent side chick. He was using her and wanted something from her. I’m happy the marriage is over.”
The ex-friend said there was a girlfriend before Promise.
“Then Promise, then Shoki, and when Shoki fell pregnant, Promise went back to the guy. Promise is not the problem, the guy is the problem,” Queen Lee said.
“She knew the guy was a cheater. She took him from her family members. He was dating her cousin. She dated Mr. Makunyne while he was with her cousin. I am glad the marriage is over; he was a cheater from the start.”
Lawrence continues to flaunt his relationship while Promise holds onto the surname andwedding ring. Promise is currently promoting her book titled Strength Redefined: The Untold Stories of a Little Girl Who Fought to be heard, seen, and protected.
