Three suspects to appear before the Pretoria Magistrates Court for the robbery and murder of 22-year old Bolt driver

Three suspects are now expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday, facing charges that include car hijacking and murder.

The two male suspects, aged 30 and 26, will join the third suspect, a 25-year-old woman, in court. All suspects are expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrates Court this Monday morning facing charges that include car hijacking and murder.

According to police, and dash cam footage which circulated on social media, the victim,  Isaac David Satlat (22) was murdered by a male and female who had requested the services of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria West.

Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo said, “Police are still on a lookout for the fourth suspect.”

The hijacked vehicle and Satlat’s body were found in Atteridgeville on the same day. The fourth suspect is still at large.

The family of Satlat is pleading for assistance to return his body home to Nigeria.

Satlat’s uncle and family spokesperson, Otila Onoja, said their family is devastated. Satlat, was studying mobile engineering, was set to graduate next month.

“We need funds to take him back home so that he can be laid to rest in his hometown where he’s from. This is very heartbreaking for us and we need more safety for other people who are working on this job, like Isaac.”
