Mayibuye has noted that in his interview with EWN, one of the Economic Freedom Fighters says all the people who are in Mayibuye who used to be members or leaders of EFF were fired from the EFF by Mayibuye National Convenor Floyd Shivambu. The new party co-founded by Floyd Shivambu has come forward to rubbish the claims.
In a statement, the party said, “Mayibuye is not in the business of slander, lies and false claims. Our movement is foundationally rooted in Amilcar Cabral’s revolutionary guidance that, “Hide nothing from the masses of our people. Tell no lies. Expose lies whenever they are told. Mask no difficulties, mistakes, failures. Claim no easy victories…”
Mayibuye has provided a “simple and verifiable illustration that the EFF leader is lying to the people of South Africa and misleading his followers.”
