Award-winning singer-songwriter Bongeziwe Mabandla continues to enchant audiences nationwide with his Solo Tour, presented in collaboration with Black Major.

The tour – a deeply intimate journey, has seen overwhelming support, with multiple shows across the country selling out and fans showing immense love for Bongeziwe’s stripped-back, soulful performances.

Fans who missed out on tickets for the Solo Tour will have another chance to see Bongeziwe live when he returns to Cape Town for the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts. He will be performing on 14 December, where he’ll co-headline the stage in what promises to be a breathtaking celebration of music and nature.

Since launching on 16 October in Durban, Bongeziwe has performed to packed rooms in Gqeberha, East London, Makhanda, Pretoria, and Johannesburg, with each stop reaffirming his connection to fans who have followed his evolving musical journey. The Solo Tour has offered audiences a rare opportunity to experience Bongeziwe up close – in spaces where every lyric, story, and sound resonates on a personal level.

Left with only a few shows remaining before he closes out the tour in London at Fabric on 19 November – a special fundraiser for the Cape Town-based Bridges For Music Academy – Bongeziwe’s Solo Tour stands as one of his most heartfelt and successful series to date.

“This tour has been such a beautiful reminder of why I make music – the energy, the closeness, the connection,” says Bongeziwe. “It’s been incredible sharing new music in such intimate spaces, and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s come out and filled these rooms with warmth.”

As the Solo Tour nears its close, Bongeziwe’s journey continues to affirm his place as one of South Africa’s most profound musical storytellers – bridging vulnerability, soul, and spirit with every performance.
