Reality TV star Wandi Ndlovu (26) her mom, and sister Ntombifuthi have been released on bail after spending two weeks behind bars after one of them allegedly stabbed her uncle, Linda, to death during an altercation that happened on Friday night.
The influencer represented by attorney Dumisani Mabunda has been released on bail after being arrested for the alleged murder of uncle Linda Ndlovu. Mabunda who also represented the allegedly bogus Dr Matthew Lani celebrated outside of the court on 5 August following the release. Details of their next court appearance are not yet clear. Ndlovu posted that God is good, and that one day she will share her side of the story.
According to an insider, the incident happened from midnight on Friday night until about 3 am after a confrontation about the uncle making noise while playing music from his backroom.
Wandi’s mother is said to have gone to the backroom where the uncle stays to ask him to keep it down. “They then started fighting, and he hit him with a golf stick.” She then allegedly went back to the main house bleeding. “Wandi, her sister Ntombifuthi, and their younger sister, who is a minor, went to confront the uncle, and one of them stabbed the uncle. While he was bleeding, they left him out in the cold until he passed away. The police said it was too late to take him to the hospital.”
Wandi’s aunt (mom’s sister), who is an eyewitness, is said to have received threats from the reality star and her mom about what happened during the fight. The community of Katlehong has made threats if the mom and daughters return to the house that Wandi newly built after returning to South Africa from Nigeria, where she is an adult entertainer.
The uncle is said to have been a breadwinner at home and lived in the outside house. According to a source, they are used to fighting, but we never thought it would get to a point of killing each other.”
In a voice recording circulating on social media, a woman known as Wandi’s aunt details what happened that evening. “When the kids saw she was bleeding on her head and she was weak, the kids went and asked why he had hit their mother. He was stabbed three times,” she said. “He wasn’t killed by the wounds, but because he was out in the cold. We were scared to put him inside the house.” Police are yet to comment on the matter.
