His mom was a professor and always wanted him to make something of his life and boy did he do that. IDOLS SA presenter, radio broadcaster, author, and musician, Proverb, real name Tebogo Sidney Thapelo Thekisho has graduated with a BBA degree from Regenesys Business School.

He dedicated the degree to his late mom. “The best #MothersDay gift I could give my late mom is to keep the promise I made when laid her to rest, to spend the rest of my life trying to make her proud and to become the man she had always hoped I would become,” he said.
He also thanked his father for the support. “Every step I’ve taken has been guided by your unwavering support and belief in me. Thank you for empowering me to chase my dreams and for always encouraging me to be true to myself,” he added. “As I stand here today, holding my BBA degree from Regenesys Business School, I am filled with immense gratitude for everything you’ve done,” he added. “You’ve given me the freedom to explore, to learn, and to grow, and for that, I am forever indebted. Now, more than ever, I strive to make you proud, not just as your son, but as the person you’ve always seen in me.” He concluded by saying, “Here’s to the future, where I hope to continue making you proud and standing tall as the son you’ve raised me to be. Thank you, Pa, for everything.”

He showed his deepest gratitude to the institution for the unwavering support that saw him complete and graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration/while I embarked on my MBA. “Thank you additionally for allowing me the honor, of delivering the graduation speech and for truly awakening my potential.”
