A joke about US singer Omarion has crossed shores and made its way across the world where people play on his name and have called him by the COVID-19 variant, Omicron.
According to World Health Organisation (WHO), Researchers in South Africa and around the world are conducting studies to better understand many aspects of Omicron.

The joke has not sat well with the Ice Box  singer and he he has taken to Tik Tok to speak up.
“This is Omarion,” he says.
“I am an artist, not a variant. So, please be aware if you just so happen to run into me on the street, you don’t have to isolate for five days. Nor do you have to have a negative test result to dance to my music,” he told his followers.

He also shared the video on social media, “We gone start this thang off right. #2022 Been getting a lot of disrespectful DM’s from folks I never did nothing to. It’s time to address this. A Prosperous New year to all.”
