Radio Presenter and Actress Thando Thabethe was one of the few celebrities who called out Podcasters Sol Phenduka and MacG after Transphobic comments they made in their podcast a few weeks ago.

In their latest Podcast co-hosts MacG, Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady lashed out about the lack of support black people give each other and the amount of hatred they have for one another on social media.
MacG unhappy directed some of his anger to Thando who he implied was a hypocrite and “jumped on trending topics for popularity.”
“These celebrities jump on because they want to trend,” said MacG.
“Thando Thabooty, what the fuck is she doing? I ran across her podcast numbers. I wish I could unsee those number. That’s why 5 FM demoted her to graveyard, they saw she’s a scam. Nobody gives a f&%$ what you gotta say,” he said.
“Shut your f%$&#$ mouth and post nudes on Instagram. And she’s a GBV activist. But she can’t talk about DJ Fresh because he might influence their bag, but she can say shit about us because we are nobodies. I’m in rooms that you’re not even involved. “
MacG says they started their Podcast and Chill with no funding.
“We started for nothing, we had no money. We made one mistake in over 200 episodes and we are getting crucifide. When we hire 30 young black people during a pandemic, but does that trend?”
“If you check this platform, we are documenting black history.”
Sol Phenduka added to the discussion, “What do you achieve when you tag the sponsor? Who gets helped when the sponsor went away.”
“What is it all for. We are trying to build a legacy, we’re not even successful yet,” Mac G added.
Sol Phenduka went on to say, “The podcast puts South African podcasting on the world stage. If we f$#% up why do you wanna see us burn? How many people have we put on the platform? A lot of people were bashing us.”
A enraged MacG said it’s time people came together and black Twitter stopped using social media to tear people down.
“This s&$# has to stop. White people had our backs, our own people were tearing us down. We have families to take care of,” he said.
“We know the content we do is about to offend someone. We made a mistake, we talk shit for a living, w are bound to make mistakes. We shoot off the hip, it’s unfiltered. People cant hold us to broadcasting standards.”
People had a lot to say following MacG’s rant:

*Note – its my first time disliking a video on YouTube ever since I joined it in 2016
I must say, the whites successfully turned us, as black people, against each other. Imagine how far we could be if we as black people actually uplifted each other. The whites knew that if we stood together, we would be too powerful
